Tooting Face Crucial Game Against Cray Wanderers

Tomorrow Tooting continue their league programme with a home game against Cray Wanderers.

They haven't visited Imperial Fields since the last days of Mark Beard's reign in our relegation season in 2011, when The Terrors suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat. However, Tooting fans may have better memories of the game in 2008 when promotion was clinched via the playoffs with a 1-0 win over Cray.

Hopefully this game will be close like the playoff final, and could be construed as an early season 6 pointer with Cray just 3 places and 4 points behind Tooting with a game in hand. As the season is about a third of the way through, I think both teams can start having realistic thoughts of a promotion challenge. Tooting will also be hoping that talismanic midfielder, Chace O'Neill (picture attached) will be fit again after missing the midweek win over Chatham.
