A Sutton United Front: These Players Will Have Success

The league table is a slightly worrying sight at the moment, with just 6 points separating Sutton United and the relegation zone.

However I’ve got the faith we’ll get well away from it before the end of the season, especially when we start to get players back from injuries and suspension.

It will almost be a relief once the Arsenal game is over and done with as we can switch our full focus back to the main task – survival.

Guiseley on Tuesday night will be one hell of a trip and a huge game with the Yorkshire side down in 22nd place in the league.

I feel we can get a result and will travel in hope, looking forward to backing the players.

It was a nice touch to see Jamie Collins and Louis John come over to the travelling supporters on Saturday and apologise for the poor performance – a much appreciated gesture.

This team, in my opinion, is the best set of players we’ve had playing for the club in a long long time (a close run thing with the admittedly similar squad of title winners last season) and I feel it’s a side more than good enough to stay in the National League.

I could hardly go without mentioning the upcoming Arsenal game as well – it’s great to see the club being not only the talk of the town, but the talk of the entire footballing world.

It promises to be an excellent occasion and, you never know, it could be one of the greatest shocks in football history.
