After the satisfying 3-0 win over Gateshead on Good Friday, Sutton United complete their Easter weekend programme in the National League on Bank Holiday Monday with a trip to Dagenham & Redbridge (kick-off 3pm).
The Daggers were relegated back to this level last year after a six-year spell in the Football League, but under experienced manager John Still - in his third spell at the club - have spent most of this season near the top of the table. They currently occupy fourth place, four points above fifth-placed Dover Athletic who have a game in hand. Friday's 3-1 win at Boreham Wood was the Daggers' fourth victory in five matches, that run of success being interrupted only by a 2-0 defeat at leaders Lincoln City. They have won twelve and lost six of their 21 home league games.
Sutton's win took them up to 13th, but was only their second victory in eleven games and they have still won just twice away in the league all season.
Sutton did defeat the Daggers 1-0 at Gander Green Lane last August, the goal being scored by Bradley Hudson-Odoi, with Sutton surviving a late red card for Simon Downer.
Hudson-Odoi won't be appearing at Victoria Road on Monday as he is out injured until next season. Downer, fellow defender Ben Jefford, and striker Pape Gueye all missed the Gateshead game through injury. But centre back Dean Beckwith has returned after recovering from a hamstring strain.
The Daggers are missing leading scorer Oliver Hawkins, who broke his arm at Lincoln, and are also likely to be without forward Fejiri Okenabirhie on Monday. But they can call on veteran striker Paul Benson, who scored twice at Boreham Wood.
